Outside Sales Representative We are looking for a result-driven retail sales rep who would be responsible for all sales job duties including: generating leads, visiting existing stores, detail oriented, self-motivated and one who excels in confidently closing a deal. Ultimately, the duties of a sales rep are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the team sales goals. Specifically looking for someone who has industry experience working with health food stores/owners, and has existing accounts to introduce our product lines to.


Under the general supervision of the President and Director of Business Development the job requirements include but not limited to:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent and detailed service
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide knowledgeable assistance on all product/features
  • Welcome customers and answer their inquiries
  • Follow and achieve team sales goals
  • "Go the extra mile" to drive sales by suggesting creative ideas to help grow sales
  • Self-motivated to actively seek out new customers
  • Must look and speak like a professional
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers

General Overview for Outside Sales Representative:

  • Work closely with sales and marketing managers to coordinate and strategize different ideas on how to advertise different products that will cater to the clients' needs for campaigns - Be up-to-date with new product knowledge and client acquisitions in order to successfully drive sales and achieve company goals
  • Attend employee meetings and/or web conferencing to discuss overall company goals and sales performance
  • Interact with customers and assist them with any questions they have about product performance, pricing, etc.
  • Develop professional relationships with clients, customers and Lone Star Botanicals’ staff
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office - Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities - Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Presenting our company to potential clients

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

  • Associates Degree or Higher

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Commercial sales background dealing with small and mid-sized commercial customers.
  • Ability to persuasively explain multiple products to a diverse group of business customers.
  • Knowledge of herbal botanicals, apothecary and manufacturing.
  • Must be able to work and excel in an independent environment without daily supervision.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and proof of insurance.
