Join our family! Red Rock Sales & Marketing is a family-owned natural products brand management firm representing some of the industry’s top category leaders. We are seeking a highly dynamic and motivated Independent Contractor to serve as a full-time Associate Sales Representative in Southern CA.

 This position requires passion for the lines we represent, reliability, and excellent communication and organizational skills.  Consistency servicing our accounts is a must, with four days out in the field and one full day of office work. We offer full training on our brands, as well as our company’s infrastructure.

Candidate may reside in San Diego, Orange, or South L.A. County, and be ready to have fun in the best climate in the world! 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Sales experience preferred but not necessary for the right candidate. Most importantly you must be positive, proactive, and goal oriented!
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about the natural products industry - especially supplements and body care
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with highly developed social skills 
  • Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to manage and organize priorities
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and accept constructive feedback
  • Home office space required
  • Tech savvy a major plus- proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, scanning, smart phone, One Drive expected.
  • Must possess reliable transportation in good condition, and be able to have clients accompany on territory tours and transport to key account meetings
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of current insurance required
  • Able to accommodate and handle car stock inventory, samples, literature and merchandising collateral in home space.

·         Varied work week may include evening travel with occasional weekend tradeshows.  Flexible schedule available

·         Physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, ie:  sit in the car, stand and or walk for extended periods of time, use hands and/or legs for repetitive motion, lift up to 20lbs, sit at a desk for several hours at a time.

·         Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contacts.

·         Sense of humor is REQUIRED! We are a tight group who works hard and plays harder! 

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

·         High school diploma or GED

·         1-2 year’s sales related and/or consumer goods industry experience preferred, retail experience with a natural grocer a plus 

COMPENSATION

·         This is a commission-based position, in an existing high volume territory with automatic income.  In addition there are amazing bonus opportunities and rewards for meeting goals.  Endless opportunity for increased pay based on growing sales within the territory.
