Product Line Description:


Cutting edge vitamin/supplement brand is seeking energetic, self motivated, and results oriented Independent Sales Representatives in three separate categories: natural grocery, spa, or practitioner; who will take us to the next level, by proactively targeting retail partnerships opportunities within assigned territories, seeking new opportunities, opening new retail accounts, managing and optimizing reorders, establishing networks, and developing and managing relationships with specialized distributors. 

What you’ll do!

  • Call on retail accounts as assigned, both existing and new.

  • Present new product introductions.

  • Process and follow up on orders as necessary.

  • Coordinate demonstrations in retail accounts.

  • General retail detail; stocking shelves/cold boxes where possible, tweaking shelf sets and displays or building displays and performing resets, check for accurate shelf tags, rotate stock, apply POS and coupons where allowed, police pricing and promo execution and make a general stamp on each store visit.

  • Possible merchandising new stores and existing stores.

  • Participate in trade shows/table top shows when applicable/or possible

  • Maintain store sets/testers/merchandising units/racks/literature.

  • Create and present promotional opportunities through the retailers’ advertising vehicles on/or off shelf Help coordinate educational seminars/trainings.

  • Oversee spiff programs and manufacturer initiatives.

  • Travel with manufacturers as needed.

  • Conduct retail audits as necessary.

  • Communicate regarding sales issues and objectives.

  • Respond timely to all correspondence.

  • Be courteous and a responsible driver at all times. Safe driving is an essential function of this position

What you’ll bring (EXPERIENCE & ATTITUDE)

  • 3+ years of Business Development or sales experience in your industry (natural grocery, spa, or practitioner)

  • Self-starter with strong sales and merchandising skills 

  • Dependable, extroverted, diplomatic person, able to problem-solve successfully with a wide variety of people and issues

  • A high level of motivation with a strong work ethic

  • Flexibility to successfully multi-task

  • Effective interpersonal skills and a positive outlook

  • A “can do/do whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude

  • Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills

  • Ability to manage time and deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint and Internet literacy

  • Excellent decision-making ability

  • Discretion when working with confidential information

  • Personal vehicle to use and in good exterior/operating condition

  • Clean driving record, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and valid/current insurance is required
