Position Overview

The Inside Sales Manager position is a great opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic environment. This is a strategically important position, responsible for liaising between various customers and internal marketing, sales and supply chain management operations. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for direct sales from potential and existing customers, and is the primary driver in the analysis of customer data, making recommendations to sales & marketing, and executing customer service initiatives to achieve the desired customer satisfaction. In this role, the candidate will address orders, follow-up on various queries, complaints, errors and other issues.

This position requires advanced analytical skills and technical knowledge of the nutritional industry, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working with cross-functional teams located in various regions.

Responsibilities

·        Sell products and services to identified potential and existing customers of a certain profile

·        Keep abreast of new company products and services

·        Investigate customer’s problems and find solutions

·        Support the sales teams in resolution of various customer complaints, queries, or other issues

·        Ask customers to provide regular feedback to achieve desired customer service satisfaction

·        Analyze data and statistics related to customer service, identify and display the trends to create a comprehensive plan to address areas of improvement ie: use of social media

·        Compile and print reports on overall customer satisfaction

·        Work with management on customer service initiatives

 

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be from the dietary supplemental sectors or from industries in the B2B space dealing in various health benefits categories. Strong technical sales and customer service experience are a plus, in addition to these qualifications:

·        Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in a science field

·        Minimum of 2 years sales experience in nutritional/food ingredients industry, is a plus

·        Understanding of inside sales in a B2B environment

·        Knowledge of CRM software is a must

 

 

·        Must be a quick customer relationship builder, creating a high customer service satisfaction level

·         Quick learner and able to adapt to new working environment

·         Ability to handle a global customer base

·         Excellent communication skills – a clear and persuasive verbal and written presenter

·         In depth knowledge and understanding of business processes

·         A results-oriented self-starter with a very positive service focused attitude

·         Must work well in a cross-functional team setting

·         Strong technical, analytical, and influencing skills

·         Strong MS office skills; e.g. Excel, PPT

·         Some travel requirements
