A little about this role:
The Marketing and Promotions Coordinator is the link between our manufacturer partners, Sprouts Farmer’s Market marketing team, and Presence Marketing. The Marketing and Promotions Coordinator promotes market awareness and ultimately grows sales within the Natural Grocery and Nutrition and Body Care divisions at Presence Marketing. You need to really “own” your business by working closely with the Sprouts Marketing team to create, collaborate and execute creative marketing programs and strategies that align with our brands objectives and Sprouts programs. This full-time dynamic position requires the ability to focus on ongoing goals and objectives while managing the advertising and communication campaigns and promotional events as it pertains to local, regional and national events with Sprouts.

A day in the life:
* Coordinating & Executing Plans – Creating and implementing promotional plans, new item launches, and growing sales in conjunction with the Sprouts Marketing department is a key duty for our Marketing and Promotions Coordinator. This involves the careful orchestration of building, negotiating and documenting plans and content, and then ensuring that the Sprouts Marketing team has what is required to execute the promotional opportunity on time and error free.  It is the Marketing and Promotions Coordinator’s responsibility to lead this process; conducting strategic meetings with manufacturers and Sprouts to align goals, maintaining organized notes and clear interdepartmental communications, and ensuring all marketing opportunities are well planned and successfully executed.
* Market Expertise – As the Marketing and Promotions Coordinator, you must stay up to date and informed about the natural/organic market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding and advertising plans. This includes assisting in the creation or coordination of content.
* Analytics – You’ll be conducting market research and analysis to evaluate trends, building reports, tracking results and realigning marketing plans based on results. Knowing your business and finding opportunities is key to driving sales. Understanding and utilizing data such as SPINS, Nielsen, Power BI, store level void reports and distributor data is an important aspect of this position to reach our sales goals and meet manufacturer expectations.
* Communication is key – You are expected to have value-added, solution-oriented, positive and timely communication (both internally and externally). Utilizing our tools and working closely with our Account Executives, you will need to effectively capture and communicate both internally and externally on successes, challenges and day to day opportunities.
* Tradeshows and Events – You will be responsible for the overall management of the annual Sprouts Con Event to include the coordination of vendor communications and participation and internal team attendance. This annual event will require travel.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong Marketing skills including an analytic background
  • Negotiation, presentation, ability to think outside of the box, and strong public speaking
  • Clean driving record, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current insurance is required
  • Dependable, extroverted, diplomatic person, able to problem-solve successfully with a wide variety of people and issues
  • Proficient computer (MS Office applications) and data-mining skills
  • Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude while managing time and deadlines
  • Ability to lift 35lbs
  • Ability to travel (approximately 10-15%)
