The Position: Sales Support & Trade Deduction Specialist

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join the ORGANIC INDIA USA sales team in the role of Sales Support/Trade Deduction Specialist.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Purchase Order entry

·       Monitor and track shipments

·       Process order discrepancies

·       Manage and process sample requests from sales team, brokers and customers

·       Track, manage and communicate inventory out-of-stocks

·       Investigate, analyze, and process outstanding customer (trade) deductions and chargebacks

·       Responsible for the timely, accurate entry and maintenance of trade promotions including spoilage, cash discounts, promotional discounts, rebates, product returns, freight claims, and other adjustments taken by customers

·       Research and validate customer trade deductions and dispute as necessary

·       Maintain appropriate tracking of trade disputes and resolutions

·       Perform special projects as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree and at least three years related work experience

  • ·       Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public

·       Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions

·       Strong spreadsheet, computer and internet skills are required.

·       Previous EDI experience is a plus

·       Experience with UNFI & KeHE order processing and deductions is also a plus
