National Sales Manager

 

DeVita Skin Care is an aloe vera-based, paraben free, 100% vegan, naturally-sourced skin care range, based in Phoenix, Arizona. For 20 years, DeVita has been sold through some of the most trusted natural retailers in North America, as well as on its own website and other trusted .com retailers. The Company is a leader in the natural products and wellness beauty industry and continues to build on its long history of product efficacy and customer satisfaction. Following a re-launch of the brand, the Company is well positioned for aggressive and rapid growth nationwide. 

DeVita is seeking a National Sales Manager to strengthen and grow its current Distributor, Account and Broker networks across the US and in Canada. The National Sales Manager will manage current Key Account relationships, as well as pursue new channels of distribution to increase sales in all markets. The ideal candidate will become a key member of the Corporate DeVita team, working out of the Phoenix office, leading the team to open new accounts and generate rapid revenue growth with its new collection.

  Primary Responsibilities

 

  •             Achieves monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals

o   Develop, implement and achieve national sales plans

o   Work within budget guidelines to build sales and meet profitability goals

o   Track sales performance against objectives and informs management of results

o   Develop sales strategies and new-item initiatives for accounts

o   Develop account specific promotional plans and programs; track performance, spending and make adjustments as necessary to maximize ROI.

 

  •   Builds effective and motivated internal sales team, national broker network and strong customer relationships

o   Direct and oversee internal sales team along with a network of independent sales reps/brokers

o   Establish and strengthen positive working relationship with key customers and national retailers 

o   Work with broker principals and reps across the US and in Canada

o   Motivate and energize the sales team 

o   Represent company at tradeshow 

  • Expand Distribution into New Channels

o   Identify and pursue new retailers and trade channels to meet strategic goals of the Company

o   Develop profitable sales proposals for potential customers

o   Assess retail requirements and inform management team of unique product requirements, certifications, etc to effectively compete in today’s marketplace

  • Effectively communicates, collaborates and builds relationships with internal team

o   Develop, manage and communicate sales forecasts with internal team to inform production

o   Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports showing historical sales volume against budget, and areas of opportunity, risk and expansion 

o   Coordinate and communicate sales department needs with other departments

o   Monitor and communicate changes in competitive landscape

  • Requirements & Skills


·      Bachelor’s degree

·      8-10 years’ experience in the beauty industry and/or similar duration in broker management experience. Must have existing relationships at Key Accounts.

·      Natural/Clean beauty experience preferred

·      Must be willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment with limited resources

·      Self-motivated, goal driven and willing to start at the ground floor and scale

·      Action oriented with a can-do, positive attitude. Inspires others and builds confidence. 

·      A proven track record of sales achievement in the beauty industry

·      Excellent communicator, with ability to communicate both written and verbally across all levels of an organization. 

·       Strong ability to leverage data to support decision making. 

·      Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with demonstrated mastery of using PowerPoint to create effective sales presentations as well as Excel for data analysis

·      Ideally works from Company’s Phoenix, Arizona office. Some business travel required.
