The Position: Director of Sales

What we need:

We are seeking a qualified individual with proven experience managing salespeople in the field of vitamins and nutritional supplements. The Director of Sales will manage and expand our existing sales force and aid in business development.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and direct sales teams to improve performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Develop strategic plans, prepare budgets, and coordinate sales training programs.
  • Develop strong relationships with sales professionals to leverage talent and optimize sales results.
  • Implement and oversee the training curriculum for new and existing agents.
  • Oversee and enforce company sales guidelines and processes.
  • Assisting salespeople with generating prospects, business development, client communication, prospecting skill sets, managing inbound and outbound referrals and leads.
  • Assist salespeople with creating price quotes and coordinate materials sourcing with purchasing department.
  • Coordinate team meetings; reviewing strategy and goal tracking.
  • Projecting and reporting revenue estimates on a monthly basis.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience managing salespeople: 4 years required
  • Nutritional supplement industry: 3-4 years preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of internal teams and external partners
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at once
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
