The Position: Regional Account Manager - California

The Role:

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Regional Account Manager to join our growing team for the Green Goo brand at Sierra Sage Herbs. The Regional Account Manager will work closely with our VP of Sales to drive revenue, increase customer satisfaction and expand the reach of Green Goo products in the marketplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with new and existing customers in a variety of ways to provide administrative and sales-related support, communication and product training. This position will be responsible for both development of new business and sustaining and enhancing current business with Sierra Sage accounts.  We’re looking for a dedicated professional with a proven track record of helping businesses increase their sales numbers. What We Expect - Responsibilities:

·         Manage monthly business development and sales activities to achieve sales targets as assigned

·         Compile lists of sales leads by market as driven by quarterly sales strategy. Contact and visit potential and existing accounts as directed to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales

·         Regular communication with customers including email requests, order follow-up, product training, new account set up and sharing new, seasonal and promotional product information

·         Works with customers to identify sales opportunities and able to suggest products to increase assortment and strengthen customer satisfaction

·         Acts as a champion of the GREEN GOO brand and can speak confidently about the product line, features and benefits, pricing, billing and visual merchandising

·         Provides regular updates regarding sales activities and progress towards key initiatives to VP of Sales

·         Creates positive and lasting relationships with our vendors and suppliers and looks for opportunities to provide outstanding customer service

·         Ensures sales orders are processed in a timely fashion to ensure quick turnaround and 100% accuracy

·         Handles all requests for samples for new and existing customers and facilitates fulfillment of orders to include marketing, pricing and other requested information

·         Provides customer feedback to business partners to further enhance customer satisfaction

·         Performs data entry duties with regards to sales figures, metrics and other key data

·         Supports project work to assist in driving sales or providing assistance to customers including: events, trade shows, training, follow-up and anything else directed by VP of Sales

·         Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to further create brand excitement, customer engagement and drive sales

·         Provides sales support through phone calls, answering emails and other duties as directed


What We’re Looking For - Qualifications:

·         5+ years in an outside sales role – account management preferred

·         Consumer Products experience – body / skin care preferred

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred

·         Proficient with common computer programs including MS Office and CRM

·         Ability to multi-tasking and switch focus quickly

·         Ability to build relationships and loyalty with accounts and provide outstanding customer service

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities

·         Strong ability to present to business owners, negotiate and navigate changing customer needs

·         Ability to overcome obstacles and solve problems for customers

·         Strong attention to detail, follow up and ability to anticipate future needs

·         Strong organizational and time management skills to meet assigned deadlines


Physical Demands:

·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen

·         The employee is required to sit for long periods of time, as well as frequently standing and walking. Use of hands, arms and fingers necessary.

·         Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

·         Ability to travel to customer locations
