The Position: National Sales Manager, Vitalah

We are looking for the right individual to join our passionate and dedicated team by offering their expertise in sales, marketing and branding in order to collectively fulfill our mission. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced natural products-national sales manager to take the business to the next level of sales achievement and distribution. This young, burgeoning company offers award-winning multivitamins for adults, children and pregnancy. The ideal candidate should be self-directed, a strong team player, an excellent manager, and a driving force for the company while fully infusing the mission and vision at all levels of management. 

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the following: the national sales broker team and key accounts; sales projections, strategies and goals; new distribution partners; training and education; sales promotions; and brand awareness.

In this role you will: 

  • Hire, manage and train the network of brokers 
  • Manage key accounts
  • Create and implement sales budgets, sales goals and strategies 
  • Achieve sales goals as well as desired market penetration 
  • Visit retail stores to increase brand awareness, create strategic alliances and educate on products and company 
  • Interface with marketing to create and implement promotions to increase sales and brand awareness
  • Give input on brand expansion, new products, competition and market evaluation 
  • Increase market penetration and grow sales 
  • Establish the brand as the premier product within the category
  • BA degree in business or related area is preferred; advanced degrees a plus
  • 2+ years of Management Experience
  • 5 years minimum of Sales Management experience in the Natural Products Industry
  • Strong track record of building strategic business relationships
  • Experienced in the design and execution of national sales plans
  • Ability to travel at minimum 2 weeks a month (24 weeks a year)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in person and by phone
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Based in Watsonville, CA preferred


Qualifications and Experience:

  • BA degree in business or related area is preferred; advanced degrees a plus
  • 2+ years of Management Experience
  • 5 years minimum of Sales Management experience in the Natural Products Industry
