Brand Marketing, Communications & Public Relations Manager                                                                                                                                  

Our growing company seeks an impassioned leader in the form of a Brand Marketing, Communications & Public Relations Manager to develop and manage all aspects of RADIUS marketing, brand image creation, brand communications, and public relations. The Manager position is core to RADIUS’s continued success as the #1 Toothbrush brand and a Top 10 Oral Care brand in the Natural Products Channel. We manufacture environmentally friendly, designer toothbrushes, organic toothpaste, natural flosses, and other accessories. We seek a candidate that is happy to step in and help with anything and everything, thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and has a first in, last out attitude. The perfect candidate will understand the key drivers of successful brand awareness growth, new customer acquisition and overall marketing of our company and products to potential new customers and markets, as well as existing RADIUS-lovers and followers. The Brand Marketing, Communications & Public Relations Manager will need to develop a vision for nurturing and strengthening RADIUS brand awareness and attachment. The ideal candidate is passionate about brands and creating memorable brand experiences and has a proven track record of dreaming up and executing disruptive omnichannel communications, activations, and campaigns. This role is also responsible for creating and implementing public and media relations strategies and tactics and has the persistence and relationship-building personality to drive consistent, robust coverage of the RADIUS story with influential press outlets. In addition, the Brand Marketing Manager will need to utilize existing and trending marketing tools and platforms to increase customer base through new customer trial, creation of a foundation of proselytizers, education of product attributes, and increased awareness in existing and new channels such as natural, dental, travel, camping, health, and many more.

This position is highly visible internally and externally and requires excellent interactive skills, presentation skills, communication skills, as well as creativity and a high level of motivation. The individual must be interested in and show enthusiasm for the RADIUS brand and mission statement. The position reports to the CEO & President and serves as a member of the senior management team.


·       Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal.

·       Oversee development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations.

·       Direct the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organization

·       Develop a multi-year vision and strategy for growing RADIUS brand awareness and attachment.

·       Design and execute innovative, impactful brand marketing and public relations programs and initiatives to elevate the RADIUS mission and image. 

·       Expand and enhance social marketing platform and manage company website and promotions to create successful customer experience and product education

·       Advise the Executive Leadership and Sales Team on how to uniquely position and tell the RADIUS story (past, present, future) to different audiences and how to think about the potential impact of company decisions on RADIUS brand management. 

·       Nurture and maintain strong relationships with priority consumer and business media and enable steady “always on” news pickup and coverage of the RADIUS brand and products as well as important corporate initiatives and achievements. 

·       Serve as thought partner to all business/product teams to ensure programs, features, and communications are on-brand, aligning with our beliefs and values and consistently reflecting the approved visual identity and voice. 

·       Establish performance objectives and measure the impact of brand marketing and public relations programs developed; Continuously evolve and optimize our strategies to improve results. 

·       Responsible for the achievement of marketing/communications/public relations mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the CEO & President.

·       Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/ public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.

·       Recommend short- and long-term Organization goals and objectives to the CEO & President.

·       Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications/public relations function.

·       Coach and prepare executives and in-house content creators for interviews and public appearances. 

·       Seek out / apply for Awards, Events, Seminars and other public-facing engagement opportunities that will bring RADIUS into the front of consumer’s eyes in` good light and provide constant news feed for RADIUS

·       Write and deliver press releases and other external communications with guidance from the Chief Executive Officer

·       Stay informed of brand marketing and media trends, as well as the competition, to keep our strategies agile and effective. 

·       Develop influencer marketing program and create metrics and goals to quantitatively and qualitatively validate the success


·       5+ years in brand marketing and public relations for a natural products, fashion, design, or lifestyle brand with a proven track record in elevating a brand’s presence and reputation 

·       Strong relationships across business and consumer press, a must 

·       Passion, creativity and expertise in corporate and brand storytelling plus activation 

·       Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade 

·       Strong results orientation and impact-driven approach to RADIUS brand management 

·       Comfort with change in a fluid fast-paced company environment 

·       Obsessive attention to detail 

·       Outstanding work ethic and ownership mindset 

·       Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Business or Marketing required

·       Seek someone who understands and has a passion for natural products

·       Membership in IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) and IABC accreditation a plus
