The Position: VP of Sales - CPG Division

Kitchfix is a young Omni-channel food company based in Chicago with a strong local following that is looking to build its CPG business on the national stage. Kitchfix CPG was created out of its healthy meal delivery and catering business in Chicago where we currently serve thousands of meals throughout the city on a weekly basis. For the last year, Kitchfix has been building its CPG infrastructure to support the expansion of it's line of healthy, grain-free breakfast products including grain-free granola and grain-free frozen waffles.


Kitchfix is looking for someone to join in on the early stages of our company by focusing on opening up distribution, building a sales culture and infrastructure, taking part in developing a solid marketing strategy, and manager our broker network.


Responsibilities include:

    Able to lead a team of sales and merchandisers to grow current accounts

    Develops and drives a sales culture that pushes team members and brokers to meet and exceed their sales targets

    Is able to be creative and entrepreneurial in an effort to open distribution opportunities across the US and beyond.

    Brings a culture of organization and strategy to the company, instituting goals, initiatives, and performance measures

    Has the ability to develop creative sales pitches, give formal presentations, maintain sales kits, and informational docs

    Attends trade shows and networking events to support the company and build awareness



    Minimum of 6+ years sales experience in natural, conventional specialty, and club sales outlets

    Excellent negotiation skills

    Ability to organize and build meaningful system that will be the foundations for our company

    Willing to emotionally invest in our company 

    Is a jack of all trades, but has ability to focus on the most meaningful tasks at hand

    Possesses a high level of accountability, likes to have fun, is committed and honest

    Able and willing to travel potentially 100+ days a year as we build the business

    Is a natural leader, gets along well with others, and adds to our fun, respectful, hard working culture
