The Position: Outside Sales Rep Natural Supplements & Body Care

Job Description

Outside Sales Rep; Body Care and Supplements
Position Location: Colorado; Denver Metro/South and Mountains 
Position Detail

·         Take responsibility for results at assigned stores

·         Call on assigned retail accounts according to schedule.

·         Establish and maintain best working relationships with appropriate department Buyers at assigned retail accounts.

·         Sell in new and void items

·         Educate/train store personnel on product benefits

·         Complete retail audits and reports as requested

·         Process orders for Independent stores

·         Communicate about product voids at stores

·         Maintain and pursue best product shelf placement at Independent  stores

·         Maintain all testers, Clean, Check Expiration dates

·         Check expiration dates on product at shelf

·         Help maintain shelf sets and displays (clean as necessary)

·         Help perform shelf resets, check for accurate shelf tags, apply POS and coupons where allowed, monitor pricing and promo execution.

·         Photograph store sets upon request

·         Responsible for ordering and organizing car stock/samples

·         Participate in special sales events, or trainings with vendors

·         Participate in phone/webinar conferences with vendors, when scheduled

·         Travel and call on stores with Vendors as needed

·         Help coordinate educational trainings

·         Participate in trade shows/table top shows as directed by management

·         Communicate with Brand/Sales Manager regarding sales issues and objectives

·         Respond timely to all correspondence

·         Report activities, progress, and challenges to Sales Manager and Principal Broker

·         Be available via e-mail and phone Mon-Fri

·         Communicate with retailers and Crescent team in a professional and timely manner

·         Return e-mails and/or phone calls within 24 hours (with the exception of weekends)

·         Willing and able to resolve problems with a positive attitude

·         Other activities as directed by manager


Helpful to have:

·         Computer (PC) with most current versions of Microsoft Word  

           and Excel, and a pdf reader

·         Smart phone

·         Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

·         Ability to comprehend and use sales data in presentations (SPINS, etc.)

Must have:

·         Valid driver's license and auto insurance

·         Reliable/clean vehicle

·         Appropriate and adequate climate controlled storage space for samples

·         Live in the territory and be willing to travel throughout territory
