The Position: Digital Channel Sales Leader

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

In this new role, the Digital Channel Sales Leader will be responsible for the oversight, leadership and development of FoodState's national and international ecommerce business, for both the MegaFood and INNATE Response brands.   The successful leader will motivate and develop a team, strategize with our home office team as an ecommerce sales expert, as well as collaborate in developing our digital sales brand and go-to-market strategies.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy and go-to-market plan; increase revenue and profits within the ecommerce space.
  • Act as Account Manager for specific ecommerce customers 
  • Lead the ecommerce team focused on the Foodstate portfolio
  • Collaborate on FoodState's digital excellence initiatives
  • Ensure that our ecommerce strategies are aligned with and meet the needs of the selling organization
  • Provide strategic direction, structure, development, and guidance on how best to build our ecommerce business
  • Evaluate sales operational opportunities and performance of initiatives.  Recommend and implement solutions to advance our competitive position in the ecommerce marketplace.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be a sales visionary and expert in the ecommerce channel
  • Must have 8-10 years of directly related experience in the CPG industry ideally with natural products
  • Must be able to think strategically and have proven success implementing ecommerce programs and initiatives
