The Position: Director of Education

Position:                    Director of Education        

Reports to:                Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing

OVERVIEW: This role will help lead and support the Education endeavors and programs within Natural Immunogenics Corp., (NIC). The Director of Education (DOE) will report directly to the SVP of Sales and Marketing and be responsible for educating and training all NIC personnel – specifically Customer Care, Sales (direct employees and Independent Sales Reps and Marketing personnel), and NIC’s customers. This role will support Marketing with consumer and trade literature creation, product details, trainings, and writing of necessary content and training presentations.      

SKILL/QUALITIES/EXPERIENCE:

·         Four year degree required - Education, biology, chemistry, integrative curriculums, nutrition etc.

·         Must possess skills and have a background/history in proven successful education and training management.

·         Minimum of 5 years industry background in nutritional and/or dietary supplement, integrative medicine trainings, and education events.  Applicants must have a strong understanding of hosting Natural Products Industry trade and education events.

·         Must be able to research, create, and give presentations to staff, consumers, retailers, and practitioners.

·         Must travel to meetings, account trainings, symposiums, and trade events as required.

·         Detail oriented, well organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

·         Excellent problem solving and communication skills and bring a positive attitude to a team environment.

·         Able to handle multiple projects and simultaneously set priorities in order to meet deadlines and achieve required goals.

·         Can work independently or as a part of a team.

·         Responds effectively and appropriately to creative feedback.

·         Knowledge of online training and education experience.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint), and other education-based organizational and presentation tools and skills

ORIENTATION:

The ideal candidate will possess solid industry experience, excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills, be highly organized and efficient, have excellent follow-through, and be able to multi-task.  This position requires good interpersonal and leadership skills.  Candidate should be creative, both in presentation abilities and in developing training and education curriculum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Creation and delivery of NIC training and education programs – presentations, website tools, and support Marketing and Sales with content to promote Company mission and support revenue goal obtainment.

·         Manage and grow education / training curriculum for all channels of trade – consumer, retail, and practitioner.

·         Brainstorm concepts, design presentations, and build educational program strategies to support Marketing Director and SVP Sales & Marketing as well as the entire Demand Team.

·         Write blogs and content to support NIC website, social media, and sales and marketing campaigns.

·         Work with external and internal resources as appropriate.

·         Assist in coordination and management of sales tools, marketing collateral, and education endeavors.

·         Manage “education/training” calendar and administration of all NIC training and education events.

·         Work effectively with the team to create, coordinate, and complete successful training and educational events.
