| The Position: VP of Sales
Located in Phoenix AZ, the VP of Sales will be tasked with managing a robust network of retail, online ecommerce, health care suppliers, specialty retailers, and an ever expanding client base, leading the existing sales team, growing the organization by attracting top notch sales talent, delivering on revenue objectives, and acting as a company leader. Responsible for all sales activity to achieve quota including further development of partner and growing current client relationships to significantly increase product sales.
The VP of Sales will be responsible for executing the following tasks and initiatives:
o Delivering on revenue objectives
o Assertively managing and growing the sales organization
o Guiding the retail sales strategy
o Managing the sales process
o Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure success
o Attracting additional top notch sales talent to the company
o Troubleshooting sales performance, involving employees in assessing core competencies and creating development plans
o Establishing goals aligned with business needs, & supporting employees in managing performance
o Holding regular (weekly) structured sales meetings with the Sales team in order to track metrics, assess performance, and strategize on accounts
o Maintaining a high state of team morale
o Implementing a CRM sales database, systems, and processes
o Producing accurate sales forecasts and managing them within the selected CRM system
o Planning and conducting performance evaluations
